Signing Up |
Signing up to Littlewoods Poker was a hassle free and painless process.
The download was straight forward
and quick. I had a look around to see what their current offers were with regards to sign-up bonuses etc and then emailed their very helpful customer services to confirm.
Every new player signing up receives a 100% first deposit bonus upto £200. Players receive 25% of this bonus immediately and the other 75% in installments as you play and earn player points.
With the offer being based on £'s,it is quite a generous offer. Your first deposit also earns you a ticket to a $3.5k first depositors freeroll as well as a ticket to a freeroll satellite where the top 20 players receive entry to a $140 buy-in MTT. |

Software |
Littlewoods Poker is part of one of the world's leading online poker network, which is powered by Cassava
Enterprises (Gibraltar) Limited.
I was not familiar with the software before my period player here during this week but it did not take long to find my way around. The lobby is well laid out and there are plenty of filters allowing you to see the game type of your choice in the lobby.
The tables are a very easy on the eye purple and the players are indicated in the seats by fictional characters(one has the option to switch this off). The software runs extremely smoothly and with good speed. The only gripe I had with it was that at one time I did lose connection and upon re-opening the poker client the tables I was playing on(mtt's) did not automatically pop-up and I needed to find the lobbys myself and click the "please seat me" button. I must say however that in almost 2 weeks of play, this happened only on 1 occasion so can be put down as a very minor negative against the overall impressive software. |

Ring Games |
Ring game action at Littlewoods is largely dominated by the holdem variety of poker(much expected of
course). There is a bit of omaha action to be found but nothing compared to the pool of holdem tables available.
There is always a vast amount of games running at all stakes from 1c/2c up as far as $2/$4. Beyond this there are a few $5/$10 games running.
The standard of play is quite poor to be fair. There are plenty of action-junkie fish swimming in the pool just waiting to be infested by sharks. |

Tournaments |
I have to say I was actually overjoyed when i had a good look at the MTT scene at Littlewoods.
The
tournament scene is just how I like it with plenty of good solid guarranteed prizepools for all levels of buy-ins and most importantly manageable field sizes, usually averaging between 140-200 players.
Don't get me wrong,I love the odd MTT with a thousand plus runners but it was quite refreshing to find a site with more realistic field sizes and the standard MTT structure(2k chips,15 minute blinds).
Littlewoods also tun a great weekly deepstack tournament with 10,000 starting stack which has a $140 buy-in and a guarranteed prizepool of $100,000.Plenty of staellites on offer to the bigger games such as this. Littleoods also offer a plethora of staellites to major offline events such as te WSOP,Irish Open,
Aussie Millions and even the APT(AsianPokerTour). |

Sit & Gos |
There is a nice array of STT's available at Littlewoods Poker. There is action at all levels to suit any size of
bankroll. In todays game STT's have moved on and almost took on a life of their own and Littlewoods reflect this with the variety on offer. There is of course your standard games such as 6 seaters(2 paid) and 10 seater(3 paid). There
is also the ever popular "double or nothing" games where half the runners double their buy-in,the other half lose theirs.
Littlewoods also offer 3 seater STT's where the winner takes all,a new variation I had previously not seen but interesting and sure to suit agressive shorthanded players.
20 seaters that pay 5 players alos available,so a very good selection on offer to suit all tastes. |

Support |
| Always a good thing when there is little to say about support.I found Littlewoods support to be quick in

Standard of Players |
The standard of players at Littlewoods is generally quite poor and symbolic of being gamblers
first and poker players second(this is being polite).
No matter your game type of preferance, there are some easy pickings waiting to donate to your bankroll. |
