Signing Up

This was straightforward, I visited Bet365.com to download the installer, it took about a minute to install and setup the software, I already had a Bet365 sportsbook account and logged in with that username and password.

Simple

Software

An uncomplicated lobby and interface with all the tools I need, a limitless hand history that allows you to review every hand you've played, plus a player note taking facility which provides reasonable space for each opponent, play up to 15 tables at the same time.

Another nice feature is you can request your own password protected poker games, whether it be a freeroll, ring game, Sit & Go or multi table tournament, so it's never been easier to organise an online game of poker with your mates, just make sure you win!

7/10

Ring Games

Boasting over 1,000 cash tables going all the time, you are presented with ample opportunity to find a table that suits your style of play, Bet365 provide all the information you need to find it, they provide average pot size, average percentage of players seeing the flop and the number of hands seen per hour and the information is updated every few minutes.

There are a wealth of different ring games to try, Stud poker, various Omaha games or just plain Texas Holdem and there is ample traffic on the site to guarantee you a game whichever type you choose. The rake is an acceptable 5%.

I mostly played Texas Holdem, both pot limit and no limit and found plenty of average competition at the smaller stake tables.

Tournaments

As mentioned earlier, there are plenty of freeroll and 'No Lose' opportunites for those who just want a bit of MTT experience, there are numerous satellites and higher stakes tournaments for those players looking to do big things with their bankroll; at the time of writing there are qualifiers for the Irish Maters in Dublin, Sun City Million in South Africa, Asian Poker Tour in Macau, also Grosvenor UK Poker Tour in various Grosvenor casinos within the UK.

There are regular $250,000 guaranteed games with satellites for as little as $5, there is also a $2,500,000 tournament scheduled for September with sub satellites starting from $3.

I qualified for the $250,000 tournament after 3 attempts and 2 rebuys and finished just outside the top 100 players, recieving $225 having staked $30 to get there.

I'd definitely recommend trying to qualify for either the $250,000 or $2,500,000 tournaments via the satellite route, they offer the opportunity of a big payout for a small outlay.

8/10

Sit & Gos

A well populated section of the site at all times of the day I'm glad to report, it never took more than a minute or two to fill a table which meant playing multiple tables was always an option.

I managed to progress from the $5 tables to $10 as my bankroll grew during the months play there, this was the area of the site where I spent most of my time and earned most of the months profit.

In my opinion, the $5 and $10 tables are loose enough to be able to make a small but steady gain.

9/10

Support

I can't fault Bet365 customer service, their staff are only too willing to confer with the poker team to answer my numerous questions in a timely and friendly manner.

The phone number is toll free for landlines and manned 24 hours a day. I recieved a quick response to the emails I sent the customer service team, but as always, I recommend either phoning them or using their excellent live chat facility purely because they are quicker and free.

Banking

There are many ways of depositing/withdrawing money, Switch, VISA, Mastercard, NETeller, Western Union, Moneybookers, Firepay, Click2Pay, Entropay to name but a few methods and it only took a couple of working days for the money to reach my bank account.

Standard of Players

Bet365 don't accept US players, but I'm certain there are a significant amount, I'd guesstimate it to be an 80% European to 20% American mix.

With a constant stream of Bet365 sportsbook customers using their winnings to play poker, the standard is average, if not worse.

I managed to make just over $950 in one month and plan on making this one of the sites I regularly frequent, if only for the tasty multi table tournament and Sit & Go action.

8/10

Loyalty Promotions

There's plenty of free money on Bet365, three beginner freerolls everyday for newcomers to the site, a 200% matchup bonus on your intial deposit up to $300, meaning a $600 bonus (you get $10 for every 1,000 merit points you earn).

Bet365 merit points can later be redeemed for cash and are earned by playing on the cash tables, Sit & Go's and multi table tournaments. I was most impressed with their new VIP scheme; it not only allows you to earn merit points quicker, there's also a 50% monthly reload bonus, monthly big cash bonuses for regular players, $5,000 worth of merit point MTT's and also $27,000 in cash given away every month to those who make the VIP leaderboard; infact players have the opportunity to earn huge cash bonuses between $2750 and $9500 per month through the VIP scheme.

If all that was'nt enough, they host 5 'No Lose' MTT's every week where if you finish outside the money they will refund your stake! Talk about generous.

9/10

Summary

I plan on making this one of the sites I regularly frequent, if only for the tasty multi table tournament and Sit & Go action.
